In the Truman show, they put cameras on many different objects and people so they can get different perspectives of Truman's life. In an interview Christof says “ somewhere in the vicinity of 5,000.” this helps the show have many different angles they can us. They can manipulate many different things to do what they want, once they had a camera on a crane and they could move the crane, to move the shot of the camera.
