Dear, Shaan

Hello Shaan, and for my fiction report I am reading a book called “Call of the Wild” by Jack London . It was originally published in 1903. In my opinion, this book is really good, and I have enjoyed it quite thoroughly, and it is something that I would consider as a masterpiece of literature. This book is so good I decided to recommend it to you. In this letter I will provide you with reasons on why you should read “Call of the Wild”.

All the characters are good, but the best character in the book is Buck. The reason why Buck is the best character in the book is the character development that happened to Buck. The character development from Buck, the house dog who lived on rich Judge Miller's estate to Buck who was forced to work for the Canadian Government in the Gold Rush to Buck who is being overworked for personal glory, until the end where Buck just becomes a lone wolf. Throughout the book Buck's characteristics change to the point where he is unrecognizable as just a house dog. From being just a house dog until being eventually, a wolf. So the character development is really well done. The other characters are also done well done such as Hal, Charles, and Mercedes who are just focused on personal glory and it feels like they are just in it for the money, as they are inexperienced and overwork the dogs to the point of death or exhaustion. Other dogs such as Spitz are well done, as Spitz is portrayed as being the Alpha Male, and his characteristics are like an alpha male. Overall, all the characters are well done, and are worth talking about. This characters in this book are some of the best that I have read. So another reason why you should read “Call of the Wild” is good
