In this day and age, the majority of people get places they need to be by driving a car. Think about how much time you spend driving my sister and I around. This is why when I turn sixteen years old, a car would be an important tool. During my teenage years, I have been responsible and mostly independent. Having a car of my own would teach some of these conditions, but overall would compose me to extra accountable. There are an abundant amount of pros as well as cons to buying me a car of my own, but in the end, the pros by far outweigh the cons.
Not only will a car of my own benefit myself, it will benefit you also. Therefore, my own car will mean I can drive myself places, and it won't be a necessity for you to take me places! Consequently, paying for gas is an expense to owning a car, but it will teach me to be responsible about it knowing when to refill the tank. I would need to clean my car every so often and take it for its inspections. I will also need to be smart about how I drive and what I do on the roads, considering breaking laws could be heavy fines. These are all responsibilities that come with a car, but I believe I would be able to handle them.
I am interested in applying a job. When I ask you if I can obtain this or that job, frequently you say that the job is too far for you to drive. Likewise, if I have my own car, I can transport myself to any job I would like. Then I would be free to interview for any job I wanted. Transporting me there on time would not be a problem. You never know, maybe I could even get a job that involves driving. In addition, I could drive myself to school every morning. Since you are required to get ready for work, you wouldn't want to be bothered with taking me to school. So I would be able to wake up and drive
