Introduction:
Communication is the process of exchanging thoughts and ideas from one person to another person or from a group of people to another group of people. It is the procedure of transferring one’s person feelings or messages to another.
In Business field, communication is so important to get the work done effectively. Good communication will guaranty the best result toward the work or the company. However, there are some factors that may lead to weaken the communication process.

There are some terms that may have the same spelling but different in meaning, so the message will may be misunderstood by the receiver. Misunderstanding also occurs when people attend to use jargons and technical words that are not understandable to everyone. Some people intend to understand the meaning wrongly so they avoid things they don’t want. This misunderstanding leads to a lot of troubles to the company. However, both sender and receiver need to have a knowledge about how to read and express body language and how to control emotion and avoid mixing it with his external life.
5- Past experience:
Past experience between two parts plays a big role in communication process. If one person left a bad impression to the other, there will be a huge misunderstanding in the future. However, the sender and the receiver need to be careful while conveying a message and try to left a good impression so they communicate properly in the future.
6- Environment:
Environment differences may impact business communication because communication skills require an environment that helps people in communicating, for example, a person will have some good communication skills if he is working in a better environment, on the other hand if the environment was poor he will be with a limitless

In order to be able to communicate effectively, one must first understand that communication is not just speaking verbally. Communication consists of a variety of process in order to convey information from one person to another. Matsumoto & Juang state that

Communication is the process of conveying information to each another using words, actions, or by writing the information down to be read by another person. Communication is something that most people do at some point each day, and is an important part of life especially in a working environment. “The concept of communication is an essential part of every profession, and it is required to foster and maintain healthy relationships”( Jasmine, 2009, para. 1).
This can also affect people who may be working in an office but this may be because of the location but the layout of the office can affect the communication because this can make it difficult for the workers to communicate because of the difficult layout of the room of the office. There are many physical barriers that can affect the way of communication in an office for example staff storage, poor technology or environmental distractions like noise, bad lighting and temperature.
Effective business communication is central to the success of an individual’s career and consequently to that of the overall business entity. It would be imaginable therefore that there is some form of correlation between effective communication skills and such success. To put this into context, University of Kent (2011) has placed Verbal Communication at the top of the ten skills that employers most commonly look for. On the same note, anything that hinders effective communication is bound to have a negative effect not only on the specific message delivery, but also on the overall success of a career. In this paper, some of the barriers to effective business communication are discussed, with a few examples of how they affect the process.
Being able to communicate can take you very far. Having the ability to communicate in your work place can be very effective. Good communication helps your work environment to soar. Everyone on your team will benefit tremendously if everyone has good communication. Having ineffective communication in the work environment can bring about a lot of issues.
One’s career, school life, and even socializing are affected by communication. If you do not know how to communicate, you probably do not have many friends. Communication has been used since the days of the cavemen. When the cavemen learned to communicate they greatly increased their hunting potential. When they learned to communicate on the hunt and before the hunt, they caught much more game then when they were just randomly running after the animals with spears. In school, if teachers and students could not communicate well, how would anything ever get done? In a business, communication is the most important ingredient. Working at a corporation at a higher level, you deal with hundreds of important emails, meetings, phone calls, and other forms of communicating with your co-workers.
I am writing this letter to you in hopes of helping you understand what is taking place in our business communications course. I do understand that as a native speaker to English, this course may be a bit difficult for you, however please don't worry as I am always here to help you. This week we are putting our focuses on the "Word Power" conference. This conference has been set up for students to participate in a fun new way of introducing new words and phrases. These words and phrases are English culture specific and may be difficult to learn, however with my help I am hoping you will understand the definition of the word as well as understand the phrases that this word provokes.
Clearly, communication plays a significant role in every aspect of our life. Communication is the simply act of conveying information from one person to another by using voice (verbally), gesture or body language (nonverbally), books or magazines (written), pictures (visually). The better communication skills that one has is the better the information could be transferred and received. The ability to convey information successfully and clearly is a fundamental life skill and should not be underestimated. Additional, effectively communication is the key to solve problems in any situation. With good communication skills, you can absolutely improve your professional life as well as strengthen your social and family relation ship. Indeed, communication allows us to relate and understand each other. “It also provides us with a significant frame of reference and relational context that sustain our identities.” (Imberti, 2007)
There are many types of cultural differences in business communications. The major ones may include the sense of time, sense of space, sense of values and ethics and interpersonal communications. American anthropologist and cross-cultural researcher, Edward T. Hall mentioned that every culture is affected by the manner in which time, context and space are handled.

Communication is an important aspect of processing and transferring information in our society. The important entities needed for a successful communication includes; a sender, receiver, message and feedback. First, the sender is a person or entity that is sending information to the receiver. After receiving the message, the receiver will attempt to decode the message and prepares a proper response (feedback). Communication is an essential part of our daily interactions; it can be seen used in businesses, for pleasure, sports, education and many more activities.

Organizations cannot meet their goals unless they have effective communication. In any business activity manager is a key player and the triumph of any organization depends on the relationship between manager and his subordinates. Communication is a ribbon, which binds the management and its official together. It is very obligatory for the success and excellent performance of any organization.
In Any form of communication, there is a sender and receiver of the message. The question of whether the message is sent and how the message is received is of vital importance in communication. Communication is successful only when the receiver receives the intended message of the sender.
