Throughout this generation, and various others before, have endured many forms of bullying, not only inside the walls of an educational building, but even out on the city streets. It has advanced, both negatively and positively over the many years. But what has it done to society, or even the people? There has been countless attempts to endorse and prevent the act of bullying, but it just seems to either worsen, or not work out whatsoever. Despite the downsides, it is easy to see that the acts of bullying have indeed evolved. There is several points in bullying, the develop it into what it is now, but the center of bullying really is focused mostly on those who are attending school of any kind. Those in college may be older, and more mature, but there could be anything that can trigger bullying of any kind in College. As always, the Principals, Administrators and Deans in charge of schools put in minimal effort to fix things. I believe that there should be more monitoring and assistance implemented into the rules to decrease the amount of physical, verbal and online bullying that occurs in and around schools. It is dismaying that every single day, there is bullying that goes on, and goes unnoticed. These unrecognized events could lead on well into the build up of anxiety and depression in those victims who endure these appalling acts. But it is merely impossible to put something so heavily controversial, and some individuals mindset is so set in stone on being hurtful or abusive toward another person. The reason as to why It should be stopped, is because nobody ever knows if a person is already fighting off some sort of pain outside of the situation. For instance, a friend that I’ve developed a strong friendship over the internet, got herself into a serious relationship in the past year and a half, and it became very serious, but at the same time, outside of the walls of social media, she was experiencing being bullied, teased, left out and numerous other things to name. As her relationship began to die down, it put the pain and pressure on her far more, and led to her falling into a depression. These type of things added onto bullying can have a highly negative effect on an individual, especially being very young. When teens are being bullied at a young age and are barely beginning their High School life, it can cause them to become scared and isolated. This can cause a progression in suicidal thoughts, and possibly acts of crime. All in all, It is ridiculed that many people who go through this everyday, turn to things that just make things worse.
