Buddhism is the world’s fourth-largest religion with over 500 million followers known as Buddhists. Buddhism is the descendant of Hinduism and it come to existence almost 600 years after Jesus Christ. It arose in the Eastern part of Ancient Indian. Buddhism is a way of finding peace within oneself. It is a religion that helps the people to find the happiness and contentment they seek. It is also the practice of Buddha’s teachings .It is defined as “A religion, originated in India by Buddha (Gautama) and later spreading to China, Burma, Japan, Tibet, and parts of southeast Asia, holding that life is full of suffering caused by desire and that the way to end this suffering is through enlightenment that enables one to stop the endless sequence of births and deaths to which one is otherwise subject.” The word Buddha, ‘the Awakened One’ is a title given to Shakyamuni Gautama. These are Theravada Buddhism (the Teaching of Elders’) earliest form of Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism. The most fundamental concepts of Buddhism, the doctrines, are Dukkha (suffering or satisfactoriness), Anicca (impermanence) and anattā(Pali) or anātman (Sanskrit), no-self. Buddhists thought this rebirth does not involve any soul because of the doctrine of (Sanskrit) no-self. Buddha taught that desire is the root of suffering which causes attachment that can lead to sufferings, in turn causes other to suffer. Buddhists believe that Karma keeps one locked in an endless cycle of death and rebirth. To be enlightened, one should eliminate desire. Because of that Buddhists has been build up merit through good deeds, donations to monks and various Buddhist rituals in order to gain a better rebirth. Buddhists do not believe in “God” in the Christian sense and are not devote themselves to any “God”. Buddha said
