“Every game i’ve played, regardless if it was pre-season or super bowl, meant the same to me, and I laid it all on the line.” quoted by Brett favre. He won two of Super Bowls and they were both with the Packers. Brett favre also played a total of 16 seasons with the Packers as well. He also won the straight MVP awards in three straight seasons. Brett favre is an influential person because of his outstanding football career, three straight MVP award wins, and his career as a franchise quarterback. Brett Favre was still really successful before his NFL career. The hall of Famer, Brett Favre’s full name is Brett Lorenzo Favre. He is the son of Irvin Favre and Bonita Favre. Brett Favre was born on October 10,1969 and was born in Gulfport, MIssissippi. During his high school years he went to Central high school, where his dad coached him throughout his whole high school career. He didn’t only play football as a high schooler he also played baseball for his high school team too, but was better at playing football. After his high school career no big college schools wanted him, so he went to Southern Mississippi. Favre got a scholarship from Southern Mississippi to play football and also got a teaching degree and an emphasis in special education. By his second game in the second half he threw two touchdowns, and he didn’t throw any interceptions. After that game people started to look at him more often and his stats and realize that he was a nobody turning into a somebody. Most of the guys on the team got rejected by bigger schools to play at and had to go to a smaller school like Southern mississippi.
