Breakups can be hard, especially if you are the one being broken up with. But what if you were the one breaking up with someone? Whether or not you should break up with someone is often a very difficult decision to make as there are many things to consider. For instance, what factors would someone consider to help determine whether or not they should break up with their significant other? Well, for someone like Marc, there are many factors that they should consider. First, trust and commitment. Does you and your significant other trust each other and communicate with each other properly? In Marc’s case, they really aren’t. If Carly and Marc could be easily led astray by rumors about their significant other disloyalty that aren’t 100% certain , then they are at a huge disadvantage in keeping their romance alive. There should be a level of trust and commitment between both partners. If you are starting to have doubts of their loyalty to you, then it's clearly a sign that there’s something wrong with your relationship. Sure, Anna could be a “flirt”, but it's most likely that the reason why Marc and Anna are talking frequently on the phone is due to studying for the pre-calc test that is mentioned in Marc’s schedule in document 1. Secondly, an important factor is communication. Is you and your significant partner communicating properly? Carly and Marc’s text messages are a clear example of discommunication. When expressing her detest for Marc’s friend Matt and for going to a bonfire, Carly is being jealous and overbearing as she claims that it doesn’t matter what she would be doing during the bonfire and that Marc cared about Matt then Her” (Source E) Marc
