Q6: The leaders of Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina have similar ways on how to control their nations and there are some differences on how they rule their nations. The leaders of Brazil was Getulio Vargas. He was a dictator of Brazil during the 1930s. He wanted to make Brazil a modern nation just like the United States when it came with economy and weapons. Since the United States was way a head when it came to the weapons back in the Cold War. The Cold War was a war between communism and nationalism. Communism means everyone is equal. Nationalism means pride in your country or pride in your ethic group. The leader of Mexico during 1934-1940 was Lázaro Cárdenas. He wanted to help the lower class on their life, but failed to do that, but he created an oil industry in his nation. Juan Perón and Getulio Vargas were both dictator for their nation. Before Juan Perón was elected, he was an army officer and had support from the workers. All three of the leaders, Juan Perón, Getulio Vargas, and Lázaro Cárdenas have in common is that they all have a crisis that they all had to face. For example, in Mexico they were facing economic problems like they was a lack of jobs for people and many Mexicans became poor. In Mexico, people rely on oil and natural gas, but once the world has cut down oil prices. They knew that their country will fall apart. They also had a reform that allow labor rights. This is similar to the reform in Brazil. Their reform was about land. This land reform would allow peasants to have their own land. These two reforms are similar for the peasants and for the lower class. It's to allow more rights to the lower classes.
