The story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a classic tale that most people have heard when they were kids. There once was a shepherd boy who was bored as as he was watching the village sheep on the hillside. To amuse himself, he called for help from the villagers saying that a wolf was chasing the sheep. As the villagers came to help, they noticed there was no wolf in sight. The shepherd boy starts laughing, for he has tricked all them. The next time the boy cried for help, the villagers ran up the hill and find that there was no wolf again. The boy smiled and giggles as he tricked them for the second time. I rarely take things for granted. There are plenty of things to be thankful for like friends, family, education, environment, and most importantly life itself. People get wrapped up in daily life problems and forget about the good things in life. People let the small problems that ruin the day interfere with the positive things in life. When I was in first grade I joined Indian Princess. When someone questions me about what Indian Princess is, I always have trouble fully explain it. I usually tell them it’s a father- daughter thing. The truth is that it would take me forever to explain what it is and what it means to me. Indian Princess is truly something unique. Little girls usually join at a young age and go to this place called Circle F Dude Ranch to camp out for two weekends a year until eighth grade. It’s a place where I have shared many laughs and cries. It’s the place I really grew up. It’s where I met new friends and bonded with my dad. It’s a place very special to …show more content…

I take the responsibility of being a leader for all the little girls. Instead of learning the cheers, I will make them and teach them. I also will do most of the activities in war games. I need to be someone that the other girls can talk to and look up to. It is up to me to steal the koosticks and flags that belong to the other tribes. When I was one of the youngest, I never thought I would grow up so fast. I never believed Indian Princess would truly end. I always used to watch the oldest break their arrows at the snake dance, and not think of it much. For, I dreamed that would happen to me. Yet, the time came very fast. When the times comes to break my arrow, I know I will cry so hard. I already have cried when some of my best friends broke their arrows. It’s even emotional just for me to think of it ending. Through the years I have really bonded with my dad. Indian Princess has made me thankful for what I have and made me closer with my dad. I love how it’s an experience we both get to share together. These memories I have made at Indian Princess will stay with me
