I read a book named SilverFin, written by Charlie Higson, published by Puffin Books on 3rd March 2005, in United Kingdom. It is the first book of the Young Bond series that talks about Ian Fleming's superspy James Bond as a teenager in the 1930s.
SilverFin was in three parts, not including the prologue. In the prologue, it tells that a boy which does not mention which school he was from was attacked by eels when they are fishing in Loch Silverfin, which caused a cut.
First, it writes about James Bond’s first day in Eton College. There, he met the son of an Indian Royal-Pritpal. They became good friends and lived in a dorm together with his other friend-a Chinese boy named Tommy Chong. Bond also started to contact with George Hellebore, an American that is three years older than James. His father, Lord Randolph Hellebore is a gun dealer who sells weapons to many countries after World War I. It is known that Lord Hellebore knew Bond’s father, he arrived Eton to direct and run “Hellebore Cup” for boys. The competition have three events: Shooting, swimming, and running. A rumor is up that George will win, however, Andrew Carlton, an unexpected competitor, came up of ways to beat him. Bond is in the seventh place in shooting, third in swimming, and first in running. During the running section, Lord Hellebore tried to help his son cheat so that he can win, unfortunately, Bond sees him taking a shortcut and so he followed him the next lap. He then tried to trip James with his leg to make him fall but he loses his own balance and fall.
Second, it talks about the spring break. James went to Scotland to visit his Aunt Charmian and his Uncle Max. While he was going to Scotland, a friend of James named “Red” who is traveling to the same place...

...hrough, with the help of Wilder Lawless, only to return shortly later with George Hellebore as a partner to destroy Lord Randolph's lab. George has become upset increasingly with his dreadful father and his work, and wishes secretly to be with his mother more than anything. The two destroy the lab and are later met by Lord Hellebore who aimed to kill them both. Hellebore attacks them with a shotgun. However, Algar intercede at the last moment and forces himself and Hellebore into Loch Silverfin. Algar was bruised by his brother's shotgun and his blood attracts the eels who kill both the brothers while they are fighting.
James was ruined due to a lung infection and burnout shortly after and for ten days lies dead. When he regains sensibility he learns that George has moved back to America to be with his mother, and that his Uncle Max has died, and left James his car.
