Book Arrangement: The Case for Christ has an introduction and conclusion section. The book is broken up into three parts, and in each part there are chapters with sections that break up Lee Strobel’s ideas and findings. Each chapter of The Case for Christ starts out with a short summary of a case or a story that Lee Strobel has participated in or researched. He uses these stories to help solve his biggest case of all, the case for Christ. After Strobel states the main ideas that will be covered in the following pages and how the story ties in with the topic, he gives a description of the person that will be interviewed. The audience of this book needs to be capable of comprehending a high intellectual level; therefore, it is projected more towards older individuals. -Purpose: The purpose of The Case for Christ is to tell of the interviews and feedback that Lee Strobel uncovered as he went through his journey to discover the background and reliability of Jesus Christ. This book was published to inform people about what was established during Strobel’s research, to help other people during their own spiritual journey and to be a sturdy reference source. -Ethos: This book appeals to ethos often. At the end of his book, Strobel listed all of the situations he used. Every chapter is another interview with another professor that is very well educated on the topics that they are asked about.
