Have you ever heard of the infamous couple Bonnie and Clyde? If not, they were American criminals who traveled the central U.S. with The Barrow Gang. They would rob and kill people. Sometimes, the gang involved the older brother of Clyde, Buck Barrow. Known today for all of his robberies, Clyde liked robbing small stores or rural gas stations. They killed at least nine police officers and several civilians. Their reputation was well known and they ended with a gruesome death. All starting during the Great Depression, this rebellious group was made.
Bonnie Parker was born on October 1, 1910, in Rowena, Texas. After meeting Clyde Barrow in

1930, she entered the life of crime. She robbed banks and little businesses with him and associated with their gang. She was one of America's most infamous criminals of her time. Their two-year crime spree was in several central states, also responsible for the murder of several people including law officials. Clyde Barrow was born on March 24, 1909, into a poor farming family in Telico, Texas. Supervised by his older brother, he basically was born into a life of crime. Then, he met Bonnie Parker.
The infamous couple, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow meet in Dallas, Texas. Its no surprise that they were put in jail and escaped many times. Plenty of murders attributed towards the Barrow Gang. In February, two officers are killed in a gunfight with the gang in Joplin, Mo. They are wounded but only Clyde was captured. As he sat in prison, Clyde immediately turned to escape. He and Bonnie had fallen deeply in love and Clyde was overcome by heartache. A lovesick Bonnie was more than willing to help her soulmate. She decided to smuggle a gun into the prison for him. On March 11, 1930, Clyde used the weapon to escape, but they were then captured only a week later. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison for his crimes.
After Clyde’s release in February 1932, a couple years later, He and Bonnie reunited, and Clyde continued his crime spree, robbing banks and businesses. In June of that year, Bonnie was severely injured in a car accident where she was severely burned on her leg from the car's battery acid. The remainder of Bonnie’s fairly short life, she was not able to walk and had to be carried from place to place. In which Clyde took a pleasure in doing. On May 23, 1934, Bonnie and Clyde, enduring a criminal, on-the-run life, were both killed in a police ambush on a long rural road in Louisiana.
The infamous couple, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, were definitely America’s most wanted criminals of the 1930s. They basically lived their whole lives as criminals with crimes of stealing and murder, for some their death would be a blessing. They were lovers of their time, or so we thought? Bonnie was found dead in the stolen ford they were both shot in but the ring on her finger was not Clyde’s. Still being a mystery today, I leave you with this, whose ring do you think it was?
