Sarah Christopher, my best friend, has been to Bonnaroo six years in a row. Bonnaroo is at a convenient location for our hometown because it is a fifteen minute drive from our homes. We are incredibly blessed to have the farm so close to us and Sarah’s family has volunteered at Bonnaroo before it was even named Bonnaroo. Her father is a Emergency Room Doctor and volunteers every year and gets us a VIP parking pass. I have only been to Bonnaroo for two years with Sarah so her years of experience surpass mine. She recalls her favorite concert of all time being at Bonnaroo in 2014 watching Vampire Weekend with her two friends while watching the sunset over the Tennessee hills. Sarah described the music festival as busy because of the lineup that year of Kanye West, Elton John, Jack White, Lionel Richie, The Avett Brothers, and Frank Ocean who were artists that brought in a huge crowd of many different types of people. Sarah states, “There were a lot of people, a lot different things going on, a lot of variety of people. Bonnaroo is known for being pretty hippie so you get that kind of vibe there.” Bonnaroo has the mantra, “Radiate Positivity” and Sarah …show more content…
She stated, “No one was pushing. No one was shoving. No one was trying to get to the front. Everyone was just enjoying their time. That’s another reason I enjoyed that concert. Because sometimes you’ll go to a concert and the crowds crazy and it’s worth it for the music but sometimes it takes away from your experience.” Since Live Nation has bought our Bonnaroo for the last two years, Sarah seemed refreshed to discuss the old Bonnaroo that she fell in love
I have listened to country music since I was a little, as did my husband. For him, it's a reminder of a simpler time, helping his father farm, plowing fields into the night. For me, it's a reminiscence of sunning myself in my backyard over summer vacation. The twangy sounds of the guitars and the fiddles always seemed to make me feel at home. For me, country music is a way of life, therefore the reasons I will use in an attempt to persuade you that country music is better than other music include its deep history in America, the quality and content of the music and its relatability.
concerts in my lifetime, so I had never had an experience like this. The other band,
...Maine. More than 80,000 fans show up to these events. These events are usually the cause of huge traffic jams and a three day party. People come from all over the world just to experience the sense of community, as well as the intriguing music.
It goes on every year. Two million (and more) go to it each year. People go to it to see/meet their favorite people. Not just for bands. Bands, Interviewers, photographers, etc.
On Monday March 25, some members of the baseball team, my girlfriend, and I traveled to Murray State University to watch a concert performed by Nelly and the St. Lunatics. It was a terrible night to go anywhere because it was raining and storming the whole way, but there was nothing that was going to stop us from going to the concert. We where all so hyped up about it and couldn’t wait to head out. My brother, who attends Murray State, had gotten us excellent seats about seventy-five feet away from the stage.
The night was young, times were crazy and it was only the beginning of my senior year. It was still warm out and it still felt like summer; we didn’t know that we could have this much fun in one night, but we knew we were going to have fun no matter what. My first concert had to be one of the best nights of my life and one of my most favorite nights of my life during my senior year. It all began when my buddy Alex Kramper decided to give me a phone call and wanted to know if I wanted to go to an Imagine Dragons concert at the Verizon Wireless Amplifier Theater for only twenty bucks, I responded with a hell yeah, the concert was only in a weak.
I think classic rock is the best because it is true classic music. It is what started all rock of today. Classic rock is better than most rock days because it sounded way better back when the classic rock bands were popular. Today the “classic rock” is not as good as it was. Bands like Nirvana, The Beach Boys, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Queen, Pink Floyd, etc, are the bands that started it all.
The Woodstock Music Festival was a music event in Bethel, New York that changed the way people live. It helped people overcome prejudices, informed people about the danger of drugs, led to safer and better prepared concerts, and started a chain of music events all around the world. On August 15 through 18 of 1969
Randy Travis fans have been looking for updates on the country star, but there hasn't been a lot coming out lately. Now Randy's fans are finally hearing how he is doing after having a stroke three years ago. Taste of Country shared that Randy Travis went to a funeral on February 3 and the country singer actually performed while he was there as well. This is said to be Randy Travis' first public appearance since he had his stroke back in July of 2013. A lot of people thought that Randy might not make it and nobody really knew if he would ever perform again.
Kids were playing at the playground and running all over the festival and into the craft tents. Music brings people together as a social entity. Anna and Elizabeth were two of the humblest and kind artists I have seen as they invited fans to sit behind them on stage to avoid the weather. They were there to spread their old-time and mountain music and seem to me like they are not in music for the popularity or
As a person who is passionate about music, I am the one who often goes to the live performances.

If someone were to ask people ever wanted to see almost every artist from any genre of music in one place? Of course, anyone would say yes, because most people haven't been to an event like the huge one that happens in California each year. This is an event many people save up all year to attend just maybe once in their life time. The Coachella Music and Arts Festival, it is one of the most talked about festivals that this generation knows about. It is like a whole new world for most people each time they attend.
I had never really been to a big concert that had a well-known band. A couple of weeks before the concert I got some information about it, but really didn't think much of it. I talked with some friends about the band and we all casually decided to go get tickets for it. Little did I know what an absolutely spectacular time I would have.
There is an event that I just can describe as one of the most unique and memorable in my life: attending my first concert. After years of listening to Ron Pope’s music, watching his YouTube channel, and following all of his social media accounts, the satisfaction of seeing someone whose music has been the soundtrack to my life for so long was unreal. There were moments that I had to internally remind myself that this is, in fact, happening in real life. Being a dedicated (some may say eccentrically so) fan is tough work – and I was rewarded with two hours of pure magic for one night. Attending my first concert was a unique event that I will always remember fondly because of the atmosphere, the amazing performance and the sense of connection
