Legacy is what people remember about a person once there gone. Out of all the memories a person has this is what the person will be remembered by. Bob Marley was a jamaican reggae singer, songwriter who achieved international fame. Bob Marley will be remembered as the most influential musical figure in 20th century music, due to the connection Bob made when writing his music.
Bob Marley was born in St. Ann’ Parish, Jamaica. He was born on February 6, 1945. He grew up in a mixed family which at the time was frowned upon. He was introduced to music at an early age due to his family’s ability to play instruments. The first choice was that Bob Marley held a peace concert in Jamaica with reggae acts to cool down the conflicts that was destroying Jamaica. The conflicts in Jamaica were big and was ruining Jamaica’s culture ("Bob Marley."). This showed Bob Marley cared about being peaceful and he was a great influence. Bob Marley saw this as a terrible thing and wanted to bring peace back to Jamaica. The second choice was that Bob Marley just after a month of releasing another album, Marley and the wailers start the Tuff Uprising Tour. They would perform for millions of people in 12 different countries ("Bob Marley.")This tour would be the reason why he is so well known. Bob Marley and the wailers were known somewhat internationally before this, but this tour is what really spread their name. These two choices had a big impact on the look of Bob Marley. He stopped a huge conflict just by having a peace concert in jamaica.
