Americans during the mid to late 20th century faced many struggles. Minorities and especially the African Americans were still dealing with after-effects of the Civil War. Americans were faced a difficult challenge when deciding if we should be at war with Vietnam. Bob Dylan a singer/song writer known for his political and social influence was no different. He was the most influential song writer during the Civil Rights movement because he let people of America know about the problems the nation was facing socially and politically. His name became to be known especially during the time of the Civil Rights Movement. Bob Dylan was influential to the society in the 20th century through his reflection of the problems existing during that turbulent time.
Bob Dylan was mostly known for his songs during the Civil Rights Movement. Dylan was a white man and a Jewish but was deeply moved by the treatment of non-white citizens in the United States. This led him to write songs about the Civil Rights Movement in America. The Civil Rights Movement was a worldwide series of political and for equality before the law during the 1960's. Many reasons and causes lead to the Civil Rights Movement. The most well known event happened that would create a spark of the moment. This event took place on the year 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama when an elder black woman named Rosa Parks was arrested for violating the rule of the bus. She refused to give up her seat to a white man. This event was the main spark which established Montgomery Improvement Association, an organization which strongly supported the Civil Rights Movement. ... Dylan, Dylan turned out to be the most influential during that time. His songs were simply known not for his voice but the message in the lyrics of his songs. He was the greatest impact on that generation(Independent).
Bob Dylan was the most influential artist for thousands of Americans in the 20th Century. He may not have been responsible for the start of the Civil Rights Movement, but he provided a boost for the movement. He wrote many songs during this movement and supporting it. He was also influential on the upcoming artists and musicians like Joan Baez, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles,etc. Not only them but upcoming artists of the future generation too. No other artist has left a great impact in this world by writing songs and sending messages like Dylan did. In people's eyes he was one of the true heroes during the Civil Rights Movement.
