Definition and Introduction
When one thinks of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual community, a person identifying with the term bisexual is thought to have the same amount of respect and safety to live out their life as any other person in the modern world. “… Bisexuality is a phase… and they can’t make up their minds…”(Eady 378). Unfortunately it is common to simply brush off the identity as nothing more than a phase, or that the person is on their way to becoming attracted to only one sex not both the opposite and the same.“Bisexuality: 2.sexual attraction to persons of both sexes; exhibition of both homosexual and heterosexual behavior”(Dorland).

Because the bisexuality of these characters is practically ignored y the media, no flurry of news articles or magazine examinations of ‘..bisexual’ phenomenon followed the movies premiered. In terms of this example, it seems that if the media must talk about something other than a hetero-normative relationship between two people, they seem to go to the exact polar opposite and focus primarily on same-sex attractions, rather than look at bisexuality at all. It is because of this, and arguably because of the inclusive nature that some of these churches and religions want to create that they are becoming more welcoming of the LBG community. Nevertheless, it is still a problem that a person who is openly bisexual will have to over come at some point in their life if they are religious or have religious people in their life.
Conclusion
Looking at all the evidence provided, one can assume that bisexuality is something that is not agreed on. What should be more focused on is trying to educate both sides, both the homosexual and the heterosexual communities about bisexual identity and trying their very best to make it a valid expression of sexuality.
Down to its roots is the societal expectation that bisexuality is simply an excuse to act immorally and simply have intercourse with any willing and available person. It is evident that this is a harmful way of thinking, not just for a bisexual person, but especially those who are not.
