I'm going to say a word and you think of what it means in your head. BIRTH CONTROL PILLS. Now I am going to read all of your minds, you all were thinking birth control pills is used to prevent pregnancies. Well that's what it is usually known for and why it is usually hated, but there is so many more beneficial uses for it other than preventing pregnancies.

The uses for birth control pills include improving acne on the face and body, control menstrual cramps, prevent cysts from developing on the ovaries, helps hormonal imbalances, prevent ovarian cancer, prevent extra hair growth, treats tissues growing in wrong places, prevents anemia from menstrual cycles, helps mood swings, decreases pre menstrual symptoms, and let's you decided when to have a period. After the surgery I was told I would have to take birth control pills for most of my life. The pills control the cysts on my ovaries from getting big, without the pills that cyst could have exploded or flipped over my ovary and killed it and I would never be able to have kids when I am older. While taking birth control pills for that reason, it also helps my skin a lot. I can't keep track of how many times doctors, dentists, and specialists assumed I take the pills to prevent pregnancy and some are quick to judge me.
