Kevin Smith has make the grueling trek from an unknown, extremely low-budget filmmaker to a well known and respected filmmaker thanks to the help of his vision to stick to the basics. His films are about normal, middle class life adding elements of humor, drugs, and the daily struggle of blue-collar workers.
Samuel L Jackson has then came to appear in many great movies such as Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, A Time To Kill, One Eight Seven, Shaft, Coach Carter, Star Wars and many others. He has also been nominated for many of these and has received many awards for a lot of these films. He is still acting and does not seem to be thinking of retirement any time soon. He truly is a great example of a great actor who rose to fame in the time of blaxploitation and also an inspiration to all those with addiction problems as someone who was able to overcome his problem and make something of himself.

Here are some facts about what Mark Wahlberg has done with his life and who he is as a person now who he was then. When he was a kid and a teenager he made some bad choices. His family is big and they all love him and he has done many charities. He has been in many different types of movies and his best and worst movies he has starred in. Mark Wahlberg has turned his life around and became what he is today.
Robin Williams was a standup comedian and actor, who was in films such as Mrs. Doubtfire, Aladdin, and Dead Poets Society. Ben Stiller in an interview with Rolling Stone says: “He made many, many film crews laugh out loud before the audiences ever saw it. He made such a big impact on the world. So there is the man, and his talent and I think in his case both were extraordinary” (Montgomery). Robin Williams comedy was groundbreaking and influential.
Robin McLaurin Williams was born on July 21,1951 in Chicago. Both of his parents were middle aged with grown children so Williams was raised as an only child. His father was a Ford Motor Company executive and his mother was a fashion model. Because his parents both had successful careers and were often absent the maid of the family raised Williams. He later explained "though he knew they loved him, they found it hard to communicate their affection. In fact, he says he began in comedy through his attempts to connect with his mother I'll make mommy laugh, and that'll be okay.' He was marked by the experience, being left with an acute fear of abandonment and a condition he describes as Love Me Syndrome'"(Wills 1). The family moved frequently because of his father's job. Moving constantly never gave Williams a chance to establish friendships. He was a larger child and often made fun of. Williams developed his quick humor as a way to defend himself from taunts and teases. Finally, Williams' father retired and the family settled down in Marion County, CA. Williams was finally able to establish a place for himself and make friends. At last he felt accepted and like he "fit in."
William Carlos Williams was born in Rutherford, New Jersey on September 17, 1883. William grew up around different ancestries; His father, William George Williams, was English. His mother, Raquel Helene Hoher, was Puerto Rican (PoemHunter). Williams' parents wanted him to have a very good education and pushed him to become a successful doctor. In order to please his parents, Williams studied hard in school and excelled in math and science. Williams went on to study advanced pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania. While at college, Williams met a life-long friend Erza Pound who encouraged him to write poetry. After graduating from college, William worked as an intern at a hospital in New York until he got a job at a Nursery and Child’s hospital while he continued to write poetry (Poetry Foundation). Williams planned to study in Germany to further his career, but before he left, Williams proposed to Florence Herman, whose sister had already rejected him and married his brother. Florence agreed to marry William when he returned from studying in Germany. As Williams studied in Germany, he often visited with his college friend Erza. He exaggerates his characters for comedic effect but makes sure that they never crossover into being too slapstick. His films are short, around ninety minutes, and use montages to move quickly through narrative. His films contain both causal and episodic narratives. All his scenes are relatively short so his characters have lots of opportunities for different interactions. And he uses nature to reveal how a character is feeling. The way he tells a story is unique and constantly fascinating. His style and brand of humor is instantly recognizable, whether you 're watching one of his features, shorts, or advertisements. He still has the opportunity for a long career ahead of him and as he moves into more mainstream Hollywood, it will be important to see how he changes. Robin Hood a legend that lived in Sherwood Forest and was a known thief, bandit, and an outlaw. He was the leader of the Merry Men and one of the most influential figures at that time (Wright, 2004). Although it was not always like this, he was once a simple man who did not defile the king. It did not last long though, because he decided to go against the king after experiencing his corrupt rule first handed. His actions against the king led to a change in how many of the people thought, by influencing the actions of others.
