The purpose of this paper is to discuss the importance of theories of inspiration and the Bible as God’s-breathed word. Owing to one of the most specific, the illumination theory in the inspiration of doctrine is what created the content of Scripture. It indicates the divine activity bringing scripture to the real life (Erickson, 2001). Generally, illumination of inspiration shows us the role of God in the overall life process. Moreover, the idea of inspiration stresses on the place where everyone stands in adherence to the Holy Spirit. Nowadays, Biblical illumination has become one of the most disputable topics of the modern theological field (McDowell, 1999). The objective of this work is to explore the illumination theory’s development. Current field of study claims for research that is more investigational in the future (Denbski & Licona, 2012).
What is the meaning of Biblical inspiration? The word inspiration firstly appeared in usage in second Timothy 3:16, where we can read: “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right" (Holy Bible, 2013). Following the word's syntax, assumption is that "inspired" is translated to mean every scripture is inspired and useful. Some translations give samples that could be explained as “ex-spired” or "breathed out", therefore, the expression “God-Breathed.” Looking through the Biblical sense of inspiration the firstly comes the idea that writers created exactly the things need to be written for God. This idea is supported in Peter 1: 20-21, where it is clearly stated that "no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation...

...e unfolds, the belief in the theories presented becomes easy to understand in that the Word of God is real and infallible. It is truth and has authority for God breathed and inspired people to write. This prophesies happened in due time and the wisdom presented became guidelines to live in happiness and peace, notwithstanding, grace and eternal life. The bible instructs us to be faithful to His Great commission and to live our life in a way that pleases Him. These with the other things that He has spoken and have come to pass, I have enough reason to believe Him.
