Bermuda Triangle

There has always been a lot of speculation about the Bermuda Triangle, blaming sea monsters and the lost city of Atlantis for all of the disappearances within the past century. Everything that happens, though, can be logically explained, just by taking a look at the weather patterns and the waters that lie within the Bermuda Triangle.
One of the possible reasons why so many ships and aircraft mysteriously disappear is because of methane hydrates. Methane hydrates are pockets of gas trapped inside crystallized water. The gas forms when sea organisms die and decay on the ocean floor. The gas is generally frozen at large amounts of pressure and cold temperatures, but because they are embedded in subterranean rock, they are rather vulnerable. If an earthquake happens or the rocks naturally shift, the hydrates can be dislodged. This means that the hydrates would explode and release the methane bubbles which expand and grow larger as they explode towards the surface of the water. Because the gas is lighter than water, the water, and any ship caught it the bubble, would instantly lose buoyancy. Any ship that is within the bubble, would instantly start to sink to the bottom of the ocean within a matter of minutes and no one would be able to get off board fast enough. Methane bubbles can not only take down a ship, but they can also take out an aircraft. The bubbles start out at the bottom of the ocean and travel upwards, but they need somewhere to go afterwards, so they continue up into the atmosphere. Any aircraft flying over that area can be taken down without any warning. However, victims on board the said ship or aircraft have been found on board or floating in the water without a scratch. There are two possibilities for this occurren...

...sides of the Triangle faces Hurricane Alley. When a big storm occurs, a microburst manifests. A microburst is a sudden, strong air current, usually a downdraft caused by a storm’s rotation. A microburst sucks air down from a higher altitude down to a lower one. When this happens, airplane are susceptible to nosediving into the water below. Hurricanes in the Bermuda Triangle can have more energy than ten atomic bombs. The storms can be one hundred miles across and have wind speeds from 75 to 200 hundred mph with waves that can reach over 100 feet high. The waves generally have a gap of 10 seconds and travel about 100 feet.
The ‘mystery’ of the Bermuda Triangle may be a fascinating thought. Sea monsters and Atlantis are not the reasons for all of the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle. Everything that happens there can be logically, and reasonably, explained.
