Benito Mussolini was an angry man with a craving for power. He had dreams of ruling all of Italy, and destroying America. He was known as the “Bully” of World War II, and he thought of himself like an Italian Creaser. And if history shows anything, it’s that he was. Before World War II Benito Mussolini belonged to the Socialist party. But he later created his own Italian Fascist party and placing himself as the leader. He being the leader he told his followers that he would one day take over our government, for he disliked democracy. He believed that democracy was a nice theory, but it would never work in real life. His craving for power showed when he marched to Rome and forced the King, Victor Emmanuel, to give up his power.
