This famous actor, who was born and raised in London, England, is close mates with other famous British stars such as Martin Freeman and Tom Hiddleston. Not only is he a friend to those actors, but he is a son, a husband, and a father as well. He is also in an actor who has taken roles in a number of fandoms, with several fangirls involved. In November the announcement came and on Valentines Day 2015, Sophie Hunter became his wife, to the disappointment of some of his most loyal fans. Their wedding was a quiet affair, given the fact that his successful career means the paparazzi and fans would not let this big day go unnoticed. A few famous guests attended the momentous occasion and were spotted, such as costars Tom Hiddleston and Andrew Scott (Sawer). The couple had only been married for about four months when they made the decision to start their family. They started with their son, Christopher Cumberbatch, also known as Kit, who was born on the first of June of that year. Then, on the third of March, 2017, with Christopher being about two years old, the couple was blessed with a brand new addition, a second son, whom they named Hal Cumberbatch. Benedict Cumberbatch is thrilled to be a father and was quoted by People.com saying “I’m very happy to have them in my life, very lucky as well.” He is also close to his parents, especially now that he is a parent himself and comprehends more of how critical the parenting role is compared to the roles that he plays both on the screen and on the stage. That means that numerous fangirls have come to adore him, and he has several opportunities to go to various comic cons if he chooses to attend. It has gotten to the point that even while filming, fans can get in the way of his work that they enjoy so much. During the filming of The Child In Time, fans were flocked around where the actors were working, and they had a specific purpose. Pictures with Benedict Cumberbatch were what the crowd was all craving for. They wanted so badly to be near him and get a picture with him, that they hindered the process of filming.
