Respect is the invisible string that ties this world together. If we didn’t have respect, the world would fall apart. Everybody can have respect if they choose. If you are one of those people that choose to have respect, you can use it almost anywhere! You can show respect at places like movie theaters, schools, and nature—There are several things that you can do to be respectful in every single one of these places. You can be respectful at the movie theater if you choose by picking up the food and trash that dropped after the movie is finished, or turning your cell phone to silent. If you really need to answer the call, then leave the movie. You should not talk during the movie. Also, don’t make any noises with your food, such as slurping
Respect is a such a simple concept and a virtue that should be simple to follow. It means treating other people and animals in a dignified manner. Respect doesn’t mean that people need to hug everyone they come across or hold their opinion higher than everyone elses. Respect means treating others as equals and acknowledging that as human
Proper respect for others begins by a person respecting their self. Respect is developed by expressing honor, leadership, value, and trust in a person. If everyone respects everyone someday, the world will become a seventh heaven. It is important to be respectful for safety, to abide by the law, because children are influenced by their elders’ actions, and because God says so. Motivation from peers can help a person realize there is always room to improve the level of respect a person exhibits. Respect was, is, and always will be a positive attribute for everyone to strive for in their lives.
Have you ever been to a movie theater where someone was snacking on an item not offered at the concession stand? A lot of people sneak outside food into theaters to enjoy and, personally, I think it’s perfectly fine. However, not everyone agrees with my opinion, in fact every three out of four movie theaters ban or punish people who bring outside food. Which side are you on, do you wanna have your cake and eat it too, or get kicked out for bringing it?
Respect to me is admiring someone for their abilities, qualities, or achievements. I think respect is always earned an can never be given. As soldiers soldiers we should always respect our peers because they have made the same sacrifice as us. But as soldiers we should have a higher level of respect for our NCOs because they have done their time an have earned it. Being respectful is not hard it is simple, just treat others the way we would like to be treated ourselves.
In every book there is a scene, one specific scene that the whole entire story can relate to. In The Death of a Salesman, Willy talks about a salesman, Dave Singleman who was well known and respected. Dave was a true salesman and Willy wanted that not only for himself but also for his son, Biff. Therefore he tried whatever he could to try and lead a life based on Dave. This scene portrays the respect that one person could have and the reflection and inheritance from one person to another.
On Saturday July 29th, 2017, I was able to catch one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a while, Girls Trip. I was able to view the movie with four of three of friends of mines at the Regal Moorestown Mall Stadium 12 & RPX, located in Moorestown, New Jersey. My experience started with the aromas of popcorn. I am one of those type who has to have popcorn with lots of butter while enjoying a movie. After I purchased my popcorn and bottled water I was ready to enjoy this night with my friends. However, I wasn’t the one who purchased the tickets so the seats choices where horrible. They were floor level, on the very far right and third row. Still trying to make the best out of it I reclined my see as far back as possible so my neck would bother me the during the movie. The theater was packed, mostly with women.
In three seperate dictionaries, respect is defined as a regard for or appreciation of the worth or value of someone or something. In my opinion, respect goes far beyond this definition. Respect is the cornerstone of the society in which we live. Although many look at respect as simply treating another person or thing with kindness, this word has many different aspects. For instance, I would not give an elder the same type of respect that I would give my peers or myself. Respect is not considered a neccessity in this world but, I can’t imagine a person getting very far in life without this virtue.
...a topic to talk with others. In addition, you can always eat something either in the theater or at home. At home, you can make popcorn and others foods, and in the theater, you can buy popcorn and drinks. Whether you watch in the theater or at home, movies always provide enjoyments and fun.
“Broadway” is the name of one of the most famous streets in the world. The road had humble beginnings, as it was not always this luminous roadway. In the time of the Dutch, the street was a wide country road called “Breedeweg.” The street received its label because of its wideness (“broad”) that led from the entrance of the Old Fort to be the area soldiers could drill.
Movies are just a fun time in general for me. Just relax and enjoy the show that people created. Whether I like the movie or not I always respect them because I know a lot of people worked hard to create them so I will never trash a movie. Whether I watch it again is up to

Prices are high, quality is low, why should we pay for such a thing? Movie theatre snacks are over-rated, unhealthy and are just overall expensive. Why should we pay for this when we can bring our own quality foods?
Having worked in a movie theatre, I was exposed to the inner workings of cinemas, and thus can adequately judge on what makes a movie theatre a satisfactory one. I believe that what makes a quality movie theater is the variety of films, the customer service, reasonable pricing, membership opportunities, and an overall positive atmosphere. A well-run theatre will have all these qualities to some degree, and will keep striving to improve their business. Over all, I believe that all these qualities will help make the movie theatre its very best, so to allow their customers an enjoyable time at the theatre, while watching a quality
To me “respecting the medium” is not something that can be answered in any one way, especially when it comes to film. Film is something that I have a heart for and want to be a part of. In order to do this for the glory of God like I am called to do as a Christian I need to be able to respect it as a medium. Understanding this is no easy task. It is something that I have thought even before taking this class. While I might not have labeled it as “respecting the medium,” I often pondered how can I produce great films that reach possibly millions of people? How can I create something that the world can enjoy but also influence them in a way that is positive? What is it in film that I can use to reach out to people? Film is a medium that is hard to tackle because it is visual. Learning throughout this semester about what others have done, both past and present, has given me insight on how I might achieve my goals in film. Film is very powerful in today’s culture and I need to be able to integrate my faith into to make a difference.
Being comfortable is important while watching a movie and being let some be as relaxed as they want. When arriving late people are left to sit too close to the screen and bend there heads back. On the other hand stay home to watch a movie let a person watch from where ever they please. Not only is the angle important but also the people that are in the surroundings. If someone if laughing too much or is annoying in the theater, there’s nothing that can be done but call for an employee and make a scene. In comparison to staying at home where someone can tell the viewer they are being annoying politely. Some people go to see movies while there on a date, trying to pull movies in pubic. Even though if you where to take a date home to watch a movie, it would be more appropriate to kiss and hug them without being vulgar to others. Talking something that people do while watching a movie, it is rude to talk too much in a theater. Whereas at home viewers can talk all they want and even pick up a phone call. Texting is a common thing that everyone does; during a movie in a theater it is very noticeable thing that distracts other. Although at home texting is fine since it will no bother anyone.
