This paper will encourage readers to learn more about Bank of America, the second largest in the world and is the fastest growing business in America, the investments that the bank has to offer is up to standards. Its revenue is one of the highest in the country, the headquarters is in Charlotte, NC, with dates of starting as back as far as the 1900’s. Also, people may not realize that Merrill Lynch is part of Bank of America, the bank is also with the NYSE. The company has expanded and grown over these years, and are still improving their services to continue with the work that is offered for individuals, corporations, international operations as well as the investment managements.

The bank is the twenty-first largest, since 2013, as of Forbes, is the third biggest. The company was founded in 1904 in Italy, while immigrants were trying to settle into the United States, the bank started in the 1900’s, this is where people were discriminating toward others due to the fact they thought they were poor. The founder, Giannini, was able to save the banks money, when in 1906, in California, there was in earthquake that rocked California, Giannini was able to have the funds for lending to people within just a few days of the earthquake. This is when Bank of America branched out into California, the first branch was in 1909 in San Jose. Giannini expanded the company to other western states, this is when Transamerica Corporation was invested in 1953.
