Australopithecus is a group of extinct creatures related to human beings because they have a combination of human and ape-like traits, like humans they were bipedal, but like apes they had small brains; their canine teeth were small like humans but cheek teeth were large.

Australopithecushuman like traits are much alike, except they had ape-like facial and body characteristics.
