We all know that life and death go hand, and had, but what happens for you to die isn’t always pleasant. Anastasia Louise found out the hard way that not all people have a pleasant passing. If we start at the beginning you must know a little bit about Little Anastasia. She grew up in a small town, it was peaceful and everybody, knew everybody. The people that lived there were as nice as puppies. Crime wasn’t even heard of around there. Everyone one was mid-class and no one person was above the rest. Anastasia herself was a straight a student and never got in trouble. She even volunteered at the animal shelter every weekend. She was 17 and wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up, because she adored animals. The day started like any other.
Several years ago, a certain potato chip company threw out the challenge in a new advertising campaign: "Bet you can't eat just one!”... While it’s quite difficult to eat just one chip, it’s just as difficult to visit just one Caribbean island. How then do you choose the right one for your vacation? Well, we recommend visiting them all, but for now, we will highlight a few to get you started. These countries, while similar in many ways do vary in size, shape and even culture. Each is unique in its own way, some even more famous than others, but one thing is sure; the vibe is good all over. It’s called the “Caribbean Vibes” It’s a certain ambience that will stimulate, invigorate and captivate you. Be careful though, many vacationers have fallen

Americans at the end of their lives no longer have this sense of continuity and stability. Rituals today are as likely to include tubes and noisy machines, artificial ventilators and unpleasant drug regimens bringing as many unpleasant side effects as health benefits. Many times the dying languishes in a hospital bed, surrounded not by the comforts of home and family but rather by sterility and bright lights, strangers and hushed voices. Death is no longer a mysterious part of a cherished tradition but a terrifying ordeal to be postponed as long as possible, an enemy that must be fought off at all costs.

The Quinceañera is a celebration in Latin America that is very comparable to our Sweet 16 celebration, also know as the fiesta de quince años. The origination of the word comes from the feminine term of fifteen-year-old in Spanish. The overall celebration marks the transition from childhood to becoming a young woman. In earlier times this celebration was meant to be a teaching point for young women to learn how to cook, weave, and the art of becoming a mother. Depending on the family specifically, some can carry a religious tone, and some can be more traditional and casual.
Odd as it sounds, there can be little question that some deaths are better than others. People cross-culturally have always made invidious distinctions between good deaths and bad. Compare, for instance, crooner Bing Crosby's sudden death following eighteen rounds of his beloved golf with the slow motion, painful expiration of an eighty-year-old diabetic. Bedridden following the amputation of his leg, the old man eventually began slipping in and out of consciousness. This continues over a period of years, exhausting the emotional, physical. and financial resources of his family. The essence of a "good death" thus involves the needs of the dying (such as coming at the end of full and completed lives, and when death is preferred to continued existence) as well as those of their survivors and the broader society.
Throughout the nation catastrophes occur on a daily basis; however there are a few catastrophes that have taken national precedence and left a traumatized nation. Most usually these catastrophes are an act of terrorism. Michael Nelson (2010) describes the nature of such terrorism catastrophes as disconcerting, unanticipated and that unnerve “the country’s sense of safety and identity” (p. 20). When such “a traumatic event results in the death of civilians” and “calls the nation’s institutions or values into question” the nation as a whole looks to their leader, our president, to offer solace and calm through a responsive speech (Campbell and Jamieson, 2008, p. 102). In Presidents Creating the Presidency, (2008) the authors have labeled these speeches as a national eulogy in which they usually occur at the sight of the

Everyone will have one moment in life to ask, how would I like to die? This was the question that many people in America were asking themselves when the case of Brittany Maynard, a 29 year old female appeared in the news around the country. This female from California was diagnosed with aggressive terminal brain cancer. Many doctors tried different treatment trying to save her life, but the prognosis was not promising at all (Maynard, 2014). And she was told by doctors that her death will be under agonizing pain. With such horrible fear of losing control, she made up her mind and decided to die with dignity by medical assistance with her family at her bedside. The choice was not easy
Drawing life to a close with a transcendentally orgasmic bang, and not a pathetic and god-forsaken whimper, can turn dying into the culmination of one's existence rather than its present messy and protracted anti-climax.
There is no arguing Walt Disney practiced what he preached. In fact, he did what he did so well that people continue to bring others to see what he did to this day, that being Disneyland. First, we’ll start by learning about the background history of Disneyland. Next, we’ll compare Disneyland from when it first started to what it has developed into. And finally, we’ll explore all the eight parks and what they have to offer.
Death is the one great certainty in life. Some of us will die in ways out of our control, and most of us will be unaware of the moment of death itself. Still, death and dying well can be approached in a healthy way. Understanding that people differ in how they think about death and dying, and respecting those differences, can promote a peaceful death and a healthy manner of dying.
Death held no fear for me, only hope. Just the single hope that I could see her one last time, hear her speak in her melodious tones and let her laughter surround me and fill me with joy. For in my memory nothing remained of her. The one thing I swore to remember and cherish was gone, her laughter. Suddenly a loud continuous beep fills the empty silent room as I hear frantic doctors and nurses flood in. They can do nothing for me now. As the beeps of my heart grow slower and slower I can feel myself falling into a deep sleep my grief dragging me down into an oblivion of darkness.
It’s crazy how life can change in an instant. The uncertainty of being dead or alive at any given moment can conflict with how you go about your life. As presented in the show A Thousand Ways to Die, there are a number of physical and chemical factors that can end our life. We learn from our mistakes and with past experiences we know the right and wrong paths to go towards. Not everyone receives the blessing of life every morning; however, we must cherish the moments we are able to live through, and pass on our life experiences to the generations to come. I can take you through the day of my ordinary life and show you how everything can be good, then take a drastic turn for the worst and still have positive effects.
