Autism is a wide-spectrum disorder of brain development. Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are defined by strong and pervasive shortage in socialisation, communication (verbal and nonverbal), and restricted or stereotyped behaviours ( Levy, Mandell and Schultz, 2010). So, people with ASD are different from most other people in the way they behave, interact and learn. Although some people with ASD may have low abilities, others may be talented (CDC, 2014). Autism spectrum disorders are sophisticated, lasting, neurodevelopmental conditions and the main cause unidentified. Autism comes in the second rank after mental retardation among the serious developmental disorders so; it is frequent and is now much more common than before (Newschaffer et al, 2007). Autism is a various disease characterized by impairments in three main fields: social interaction, language and repetitive behavior. It was discovered that boys are at increased risk for the ASDs. (Abrahams & Geschwind, 2009). It is approximately 5 times more common among boys (1 in 42) than among girls (1 in 189). However, ASD occurs in all different groups: ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic (CDC, 2014).

What is the history of Autism?
The word "autism" comes from the Greek word "autos" which means "self". The term describes that a person with autism transmit from social interaction to isolation. A Swiss psychiatrist, Eugen Bleuler, was the first person to use the term in about 1911 to refer to a group of symptoms of schizophrenia. ...ore children are being diagnosed with ASD today than in the past. Autism spectrum disorders are much more common than previously believed. Parents of a child with Autism face many challenges in order to cope with the situation and improve the quality of life of children with autism. So, family’s awareness of Autism signs and treatment must be established. Parents should consult specialists when doubt that their child has signs of ASD. Although many techniques and treatments exist now that can help relieve the pain and suffering of autism, parents need to learn the strategies that facilitate dealing and supporting a child with Autism. The government also should raise people’s awareness of Autism and provide the required support centers for families of children with Autism and further future research should be encouraged to improve the treatment and therapy of Autism.
