“Capital is dead labor, that vampire-like, only lives by sucking living labor, and lives the more, the more labor it sucks.”This epitomises karl Marx’s representation and analysis of capitalism. Karl Marx has an abundance of theories and analysis for capitalism, for example exploitation and alienation with these possessing plenty strengths and weaknesses, it isn't a wonder why there have been numerous debates on the subject matter. The strength and weaknesses of these theories will be assessed in this disquisition.

For Marx to offer coherent and accredited analysis of capitalism he fabricated the ‘perfect capitalism’ in his and Friedrich Engels’s rendition of capitalism in the communist manifesto. Thus if he can prove that the flawless of all possible capitalisms is nonetheless headed for disaster, it is absolutely easy to demonstrate that real capitalism will follow the same path, only much quicker.

Exploitation is one of Marx’s prime criticism of the capitalist system. Exploitation of the Proletarians (Modern working Class - Class of labourers) by the Bourgeois (Middle Class). This theory centralises on the perception that the Bourgeois take unfair advantage of the Proletarians. Marx believed that labour was the source of capital considering without labour there would be no product. In order for the Bourgeois to acquire a profit they take some of the capital that is in virtue of the labour producing the product. Hence the working class are being exploited on the grounds that they do not receive the correct amount of capital that is proportional to the cost of the product they produced by which was generated by their labour. The major contradiction between the excessive productive power of the middle class /capitalism and its inability to develop and become a force that benefits everyone or provide enough of the necessities of life for everyone and not just thee middle class is reflected really well in marx work.
However the popularity of marx ideas and criticisms, will not be enough to remove capitalism and replace it with a communist form of society it just isn't plausible.
Karl Marx’s analysis of capitalism can be seen as being bias however I agree that he has some very fair and coherent points and theories but these theories as I have displayed are not falsifiable and therefore society cannot have an affirmed answer to some of the questions that Marx doesn't answer.
