Why do we need to identify our learning style? All of us are human beings, each unique in our own way; we have our own way of learning, studying and succeeding. Helping one achieve success are tools such as identifying what one's learning style is. Learning styles are identifying tools that help one succeed when learning new skills, studying, or just living their day to day lives. There are three main types of learning styles tactile, auditory and visual. Between the three of these learning styles, there are major differences; specifically between auditory learners and tactile learners. The major difference between these two learning styles is that one uses hands-on learning whereas the other is learning best through hearing. Understanding the strengths and key identifiers to distinguish which learning style one is can lead to academic success.

To be a tactile learner means to learn through hands-on activities or move while learning. Auditory learners learn through hearing and listening, they can often remember information just by the way it sounds(EducationPlanner.org). Tactile learners differ from auditory leaners when it comes to their strengths. Tactile learners have strengths such as quick reception, great hand-eye coordination, high levels of energy and are excellent in sports, art, and drama(ThoughtCo.).
