Types of art you can buy in Miami
When you think about Miami, the image that quickly comes into mind is that of beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. Added to this, is a vibrant art culture. Art is an important economic activity in Florida, since it generates lots of revenues and jobs and grows communities. According to the Florida Department of State website, the state is home to over 29,700 creative industry establishments. The employees who work in these establishments generate over $14 billion in annual payroll and about $50 billion in annual revenues. Miami’s two leading art districts are Wynwood Arts District and The Miami Design District.

Wynwood is home to over 70 art galleries and hosts one of the largest street art festivals in the world. The Miami Design District on its part, also hosts a number of art galleries, museums and showrooms. The type of art found in Miami includes murals, fine art, photographs, ceramics, sculptures and an array of ethnic and contemporary artwork.
