My other account, SpenglemanJr aka IHATEHORSE, has over a day in playtime but sadly had to switch accounts when it came to applying staff. Lots of new staffs were promoted yesterday and I wish to be part of them and the group itself. I can bring a friendly community and hopes to bring an active community also. Lots of friends such as blizzard and Bradyy all got trial mod and I wish to work with them as well as others. Being in ts a lot of the times gives me the advantage to help others and making sure no one is confused. There are no staff on in the morning around 7am EST aka United States. I wish to go for staff to help the few US and a lot of the EU players. Having the experiences from one of the former top hcf servers gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge to newer staff members. People that works hard in ts like XVL gives me motivation to apply to help out people as much as he did. As I said being staff isn't just about having the rank, but helping people get the best tI me they could possibly get. I have both kindness, patience, logic, and quickness. I would use logic and quickness when I'm off to catch hackers and would use patience and kindness when I am talking to a member about their problems. Being a staff member consists of lots of thinking and responsibilities. Being on a soccer team helps me think more and plan out what we would do as a team. Responsibilities comes as you grow older, I feel as though as the age of 16 I have experienced lots of situations where I took responsibilities and …show more content…

Arson has been occurring for many years and about 500,000 fires are set intentionally each year. Arson is defined as any willful or malicious burning or attempt to burn, the property of another or cause physical harm to another. Fire data has been collected since 1977 by the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) and the amount of fires has been declining ever since. In the past few decades, there has come about a number of serial arsonists- an offender who sets three or more fires with a cooling-off period between the fires (Douglas, et al, 1992). There are numerous serial arsonists who have been caught, some of which include, Peter Dinsdale, Robert Lee Oyler, Thomas Sweatt, and Paul Keller. While the number of fires across the country have
Why should you be chosen as a staff member? I want to help the server out I believe I could stop hackers from ruining the community and I believe I could stop people from being toxic in chat and also make it a place which people could enjoy the server and enjoy playing hcf and stay on the server also I'm very good at Screensharing people so if there hacking I could find some hacks in there .minecraft even if they deleted it. I would also record every single hacker I find and put it on my youtube channel for people to see that the person was hacking, I would also record the Screenshare so if a staff wanted to see that he had some hacks in his .minecraft I could show them some proof of he/she having hacks in her folder. I also want to make the server a none toxic place so when someone joins they will stay and not leave because either a hacker has killed them or someone was being toxic to them i would look and reply to everyone's questions in chat if they need help and i will be active all the time i will respect everyone who plays on the server even if someone disrespects me i wouldn't disrespect them back i would always stay calm when dealing with these sort of situations, because two wrongs doesn't make a right i believe being a staff you have to respect everyone that plays on the server and make them enjoy there stay on the server and also doing your job
In “Barn Burning” by William Faulkner, follows the protagonist, Colonel Sartoris Snopes, also known as Sarty, a small, wiry 10 year old boy who has inherited innocence and morals from his mom, while attempted to be taught loyalty above all from his father. When they find a new home and place
The world is full of the unexplained and mysterious, but is spontaneous human combustion truly spontaneous caused by the paranormal, or just simply human combustion? Most people think of spontaneous human combustion, or SHC, as "...the reduction of an otherwise normal, healthy human body to a pile of fine black ash, the consistency of which is finer than that of a cremated corpse" (Spontaneous). This is simply not true. First of all, it is not complete consumption because in most cases extremities and internal organs remain because the high temperature outside the body does not penetrate internally. Secondly, the fact that the ash is so fine is often used by SHC proponents as to why the fire must by paranormal. They say that the fire has to be extremely hot because even in a crematorium calcified bones often remain, but this fine ash can also be attributed to simple combustion.
me to several accounts of SHC in the popular press (e.g., an account by a
A little before midnight of September 2, 1666, there was a devastating fire that broke out in one of London’s houses. On Thursday, September 2, 1666 an accidental fire broke out in Thomas Fraynor’s bakery. He claimed to extinguish the fire, but three hours later at 1:00am his house was on fire. The fire spread when a strong dry wind blew past. The fire killed six people. The fire had spread all throughout London. The fire lasted and spread for three days then extinguished itself when it went into the river. Thirteen thousand homes and 373 acres were destroyed and burned (Chipley Slavicek, Louise 1).
As the president it would be a difficult decision to make, on resolving such an out of control issue. As time is squandered with the agents outside, many children are continuing to be abused by the organization. If a frontal assault was made using tear gas the organization might harm the children more, as a way of defense. The best way to resolve the issue would be to intimidate the enemy. The compound might be fortified with guns and ammunition, but it would run out if a fire fight took place with the government’s supply. The first move would be to not only surround the compound with agents, but also heavy artillery weapons. Weapons such as helicopters, tanks and many trained armed forces. If intimidation does not work, an undercover operation might need to take place. For example the agents can leave the
On Wednesday at Sixth Grade Camp, our camp leaders called us to this lodge and told us that we’re going to test ourselves to see if we could create fire the same way the Native Americans did. In addition to that, they told us to get into groups to do this. My group consisted of three of my friends and two students from another school. We all stood around this wooden rectangular slab with medium-sized holes on the top of it. Next to it was the bow(a curved piece of wood with a string attached to each end), the spindle(a stick shaped like a cylinder with a “pointy end” and a “not-so-pointy end”), and another piece of wood shaped like a square with a hole on the bottom of it. Immediately, one of my friends grabbed the bow and spindle and attempted to wrap the string from the bow around the spindle and “lock” it in.
Thousands of fires occur on a yearly basis throughout the United States. Whether it is forest fires, house fires, or any other event that involves uncontrollable flames, the outcome will always be the same; high amounts of destruction and physical damage. When fire emergencies occur, responding to the incident may not be much of a complication as apposed to determining the source from where the fire started or what triggered its behavior, which is truly the challenge. In order to do so, a fire investigator has to be present at the scene of the fire after it has been eliminated. The investigator, after reviewing any possible marks or behavior trails, will conclude if the incident was indeed an accident or intentional, thus making it an act of arson. According to the U.S. Fire Administration Topical Fire Research Series, “Arson is the leading cause of fires (267,000 annually) in the United States” (usfa.fema.gov). Arson cases are very complex due to the fact that it can be committed virtually anywhere and by anyone, including fire responders as well. The motives behind arson incidents can also be a very complex issue because it may have been used as a cry for help or simply as a mode of cognitive escape. Gathered reports indicate that the main reasons for arsons committed by firefighter personnel are to be viewed as a heroic figure, an escape from personal stress, financial gain purposes, excitement, or even revenge against the fire company and others.
London in the seventeenth century was a city filled with people, homes and buildings constructed of wood, and narrow roads. However, on the evening of September 2 this played a large part in a disastrous occurrence that would change London forever. In 1666 Thomas Farrinor, a baker, unsuccessfully extinguished his oven causing the Great fire of London to burn from September 2 to September 6, leaving thousands of London’s citizens homeless and churchless. On the dry summer night of September 2, 1666 in King Charles II’s home near the London Bridge, sparks from the bakers oven began to spread causing the nearby homes and buildings to burn. The Great Fire began in the bakery then spread to Stars Inn where it contained flammable equipment, which turned the fire into uncontrollable flames.
For as yet scientifically unknown reasons, times occur when an unsuspecting person can just burst into flames and be incinerated. This is referred to in the scientific world as Spontaneous Human Combustion or SHC. There are many documented cases throughout history.
We have all had issues with someone on our department, that’s a given. More often than not our fire departments are a melting pot of individuals who come from all different walks of life. Some guys are laid back and relaxed, some are wired nonstop, and others are the ego of the department. None of these is better than the other, in fact all these different personalities make being around the fire house a great thing. The downfall of that though is sometimes either in the firehouse, or at a call, these personalities clash. When these personalities but heads and feud, it causes a negative atmosphere not only in the fire house but when it comes to the cohesiveness of teamwork on the fire ground.
How long have you played Arson?: I have not been playing Arson for that long, I have been playing as a player since the beginning of map seven, but I staffed for all of map eight of Hardcore factions.
Arson is the malicious and intentional setting of fire to a building, house, business, forest, vehicles, and other properties. This type of arson motivated by vandalism is common to many juvenile offenders between 10-14 years of age (Radell Smith, Jan 26, 2010, Yahoo Voices), usually as a result of peer pressure or some type of gang initiation. Most type of arsonists don't typically live very far from where they commit their crimes. Commonly, they know the area really well where arson has been committed.
Unlike the past, arson can be committed in various forms today. The expansion now includes not only damaging another individual's home by fire, but ...
