Basketball NBA (National Basketball Association) was created in 1892. The creator of the game of basketball was Dr. James Maismith. The reason why basketball was created was to keep young athletes in shape during the winter. There are a lot of quotes about basketball but one that really motivates me is “You have to challenge yourself to get better, good enough is not GOOD ENOUGH-Stephen Curry.
