Earth, a planet with many issues, issues that cannot all be solved. This planet is heavily polluted and the only way to survive is if we either live a advanced life style with new technology that can support life or we find another planet that can sustain life. People say it’s a waste to fund money in space exploration because we don't know what's out there, isn't that why we explore space? People say that our technology is limited, wouldn’t our technology advance if we continue to fund space activities?
People believe that we invest too much in space exploration. However, the funding helps create more job opportunities for people in the field of science and technology which helps them support their family and fight against the problem of unemployment. The government has committed up to $379 million over the next 8 years starting in 2017 to meet Canada's commitment to its international partners in support of the International Space Station until 2024. Canada's in the top 10 for most contributions with the ISS.

They have improved our lifestyle on earth which include, solar panels to implantable heart monitors, from cancer therapy to lightweight materials, and from water purification systems to improved computing systems and to a global search. Dextre is a space robot which performs repairs and maintenance tasks on the International Space Station. Dextre descended and was inspired by the Canadarm. The hands have special sensors that can detect actions such as pull, push, direction and direction. Researchers are making prototypes of Kids-Arm is technology based on Dextre used on earth. It is a image guided robotic surgical arm for pediatric surgery. Kids-Arm is much faster and accurate than a surgeon's arm, and less painful for the
The Canadarm is about to introduce its new and improved sibling. Back in 1987, when documents were signed between countries to work towards a permanently manned Space Station, Canada agreed to provide a Mobile Servicing System (MSS). The MSS will be an integral part of the Space Station from the beginning, it will be used in the assembly, maintenance and servicing of the Station. In return, Canadians will be able to have full use of the Station and will assist with its management.
To understand and appreciate why space exploration should be continued, its achievements must be revealed. The science behind space exploration impacts so much more than one might have originally assumed. According to Kristen Kumar, “Important technology areas that have been impacted by space exploration research include; human health, space power and energy storage, life support and communication and navigation” (Kumar, 2011, p. 195). All of the things listed above have been the focus of the space program, and the results produced have been significant technological advances. Some of the most beneficial innovations have been a direct result of space exploration research, enhancing human life, society and the economy. The importance of Space Exploration has been often overlooked and undermined, but that does not change what it has done for the wo...
The continued advancement of our technology now and in the future, will help better our way of life here on earth and in outer space. The ISS will continue to venture outer space to provide research opportunities with conjoined efforts and continued relationships with the participating countries.
Competition Another great thing that comes with space exploration is competition. Competition is what makes the world discover all these new advancements in technology and keeps new ones coming. In the article, New Space Race, Patrick Marshall says, “Further complicating U.S. space strategy is China's rapid rise as the third major space power. China launched its first astronaut into space in 2003. Since then, it has landed a rover on the moon, placed its own space lab into orbit and boosted its space spending to an estimated $110 million in 2015.”
As a country we need to start investing more money and research into space technology. Programs currently exist for this effort, but the potential for research and progress is limited by a lack of funding; compared to other government funded programs, aerospace funding is pitiful. Continued research in space technology is a necessary step in our growth and development not just as a country but also as entire human race. If we are to achieve this goal, it is necessary to increase funding for space research and technology and consider the possibility of colonizing outer space. If we limit our existence to the planet Earth, and continue to drain the resources on this planet, we will destroy the only home we have.
Space exploration is a significant part of today’s culture because it is improving our knowledge of what's beyond our atmosphere. It is important to consider the cost of space exploration, the risks, and how the world takes care of Earth. Overall, this issue requires society to consider the financial and ethical consequences that exploration has.
Ever since the space race started in the 1960s, sophistication of technology has increased exponentially. Space exploration is a benefactor to this growth, and the benefits of the investment of exploring space have shaped our lives. Satellite TV, laptops, smoke detectors, GPS, and virtual reality are technologies which have been developed with the help of NASA, and are instrumental in society today. The innovation at NASA has led to “much of the technology NASA developed to [filter] down to the masses, leading to innovation” (Wall). Space exploration has resulted in many advances in the medical field as well, such as the invention of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine (MRI).
More capital should be invested in space technology, and thereby the NASA program, in order to advance sustainable development technologies. It is undeniable that our global climate is changing because of decisions the human race made long ago. These historic moments that forever shaped our industrial and postindustrial world have been proven to have large and unprecedented side effects which now threaten our very way of life. However, space technologies and the programs that develop them are viable options in the management and treatment of these side effects. If we focus on the NASA Space Program we can see the historical proof if its usefulness in sustainable development, economic feasibility/payback, and finally its potential to solve intricate,

Meta: It’s modern, futuristic, and largely out of this world, as Booming Games have released something truly inspired in the form of Galactic Speedway. Saying that, will you be able to race across the reels into pole position? Galactic Speedway Get your engines started, because it’s time to get ready for the ride of a lifetime! Do you have a need for speed?
Robotic probes have a big advantage for getting to a certain destination. Since space exploration began, there have been hundred of probes deployed into outer space, for the purpose of making new discoveries about our galaxy but mostly about our solar system. These fleet of probes along with human effort have made so many discoveries. NASA has also made many inventions and improvements that we can take for granted every day. Memory foam, portable vacuums, water filters, freeze drying, insulin pumps, infrared ear thermometers, better software, solar energy, smoke detectors, artificial limbs, and even ct scans were would not have been invented or improved without NASA and its discoveries. Many people think that space exploration is a waste of time and that we should not be spending our money on all of this when there are people starving back on earth but much of these discoveries and inventions have proved beneficial to
Michael Massimino, one of NASA’s astronauts, says it best, “you have bills to pay, but you always want to put something away for your kids’ college fund. NASA is like a college fund, we are the future” (Massimino 1). The debate about space exploration has been raging on for decades, people on both sides of the issue vehemently arguing their point of view. However despite the possible risk space exploration has the potential to change humanity for the better, and doing so is well worth the risk. This essay will elaborate some of the plethora of ways that space exploration could benefit mankind.
The earth is considered as one of the most beautiful planets in the universe. It is the only planet in our galaxy that has enough water to support life. Unfortunately our planet is suffering due to many problems which should be solved before it is too late. The major problems that are facing our world today are population, pollution and animal extinction.
