Standardized testing has been a part of the American education system since the early 1900`s. In order to complete a college application students must complete their SAT or ACT if they do not complete these tests many times they will not be accepted into any major university. If you take the test and you score well and your high school transcripts show that you are a model student and have excelled at everything then you will be on the right path. If you did great in high school and lack the test taking skills necessary to be able to ace the standardized tests should not be the end of your college dream. College counselors should look past them and into your history to find the real you.
