Laci Peterson, a 27-year-old wife who was eight months pregnant, disappeared on December 24, 2002. When the body of the California woman and her unborn child were found four months later, her husband, Scott, was charged with two counts of murder. Detective Craig Grogan gave a sworn statement that he had probable cause to believe Mr. Peterson committed two counts of the crime of 187 Penal Code, homicide, on or about December 23, 2002 or December 24,2002, in the county of Stanislaus. April 17, 2003 at 0658 hours the Judge of the Superior Court in Stanislaus County, California issued a warrant for the arrest of Scott Lee Peterson. The court found that the District Attorney’s office did, in fact, have probable cause to bring Scott Peterson in. The Judge specifically addressed bail in the warrant. No bail was granted. April 18, 2003 at 1110 hours, Scott Peterson was arrested at the Torrey Pines Golf Course, in Sand Diego County, California. At the time of his arrest, Peterson had colored his hair blonde, grown a beard and mustache, and was carrying $15,000.00 in cash. During his arrest police also discovered that Peterson’s car was full of camping and survival equipment. Peterson was arrested less than 20 minutes from the Mexican border. Peterson waived booking in San Mateo County, California, and was transferred back to Stanislaus County, California, where he was formally booked by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.
A horrific murder happened in tiny Skidmore on December of 2004. Lisa Montgomery and Bobbi Jo Stinnett met and found out that they had much in common and became good friends (Nunes 85-86). Ms. Dollree Mapp and her daughter lived in Cleveland, Ohio. After receiving information that an individual wanted in connection with a recent bombing was hiding in Mapp's house, the Cleveland police knocked on her door and demanded entrance. Mapp called her attorney and subsequently refused to let the police in when they failed to produce a search warrant. After several hours of surveillance and the arrival of more officers, the police again sought entrance to the house. Although Mapp did not allow them to enter, they gained access by forcibly opening at least one door. Once the police were inside the house, Mapp confronted them and demanded to see their warrant. One of the officers held up a piece of paper claiming it was a search warrant. Mapp grabbed the paper but an officer recovered it and handcuffed Mapp ?because she had been belligerent.? Dragging Mapp upstairs, officers proceeded to search not only her room, but also her daughter?s bedroom, the kitchen, dinette, living room, and basement.
Sam Gilliam is was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on November 30, 1933. He served in the United States Army for two years. He received his education from University of Louisville and is a world renowned color artist. Morris Louis and Ken Noland’s works of art had a huge impact on Sam Gilliam and his works. Gilliam taught in Louisville publics schools and many art colleges. He is known for his colorful and unique art. He was one of the first artists to not frame his art work instead he would just paint on a bare canvas or drapes. His art style is very modern and loud. Dock Booker was born on February 17, 1909 in Little Rock Pulaski County Arkansas. He lived a short life of only 46 years. He was executed by the State of Missouri for the crime of murder. Dock Booker claimed his innocence by maintaining his story of self defense and an accidental shooting. The fatal shooting took place August 15th, 1953. He testified the deceased “Harrison” had a knife and told him to stay off of Taylor Ave, Booker then took his gun from his jacket to show to “Harrison” and the gun was accidentally discharged.

The Crucible by Arthur Miller begins and ends with one-sided accusations of witchcraft. It all results from a group of girls who had been dancing in the woods. On April 26, 2015 at around 2 am in Delaware around the Odessa area, a young 20 year old man was profound dead at a party. Ty Sawyer, a friend of mine and a lover to my best friend, and Patrick Downey have had brewing up a fight over a pair of speakers that Downey says were stolen by Sawyer. Downey hit Sawyer and made him collapse to the ground unconscious and he stopped breathing. Hours later, Ty Brion Sawyer was pronounced dead in the hospital. Weeks later the autopsy results of Sawyer’s body came back and was ruled accidental, according to the state’s Division of Forensic Science. Sawyer’s father, Terrence Garnett, told the News Journal that his son had been on the street drug “ecstasy” and “molly” which they say caused his death because these drugs are known for heart failure. There is a couple named Bruce and Janet Marshall; they have an eight-year-old son named Brandon Marshall. Lately the couple has been fighting over finances and small issues, the two cannot seem to stop arguing in front of Brandon. Every night the fights get worst. From the fighting and the screaming there is no end to it. Brandon feels that he is the blame for all there arguing because playing sports at his age in expensive. Months go by while Bruce has been sleeping on the couch and Janet upstairs with Brandon. Finally Bruce could not take it anymore, he told Janet that it was best for them to get a divorce and things went downhill from there. Two years later Janet and Bruce are still fighting in court over who gets what and fighting over whom gets full custody of Brandon. Through this process they never questioned how Brandon would deal with his family separating and if he understood what was going on. After their divorce was final Brandon was twelve-years-old and living with his father, he never saw his mother again.
