There are many disadvantages of using the Internet like distraction, being overloaded, incorrect information.
First, distraction when we can’t focus in one part the lead to undesirable result. People who do many assignment at the same time became less inventive and less productive (Carr,2010).That mean people who try to do more than one thing in the same time loss focus. Their work became lower quality and the had low results than others who didn't. Because student care about their results distraction one of the biggest threat to get lower score. Students who was allowed to use Internet in their lecture did poorly in the test. However student who wasn't allowed to use their computers did better (Carr,2010). That shows that students are better without Internet . Internet make them lose focus in the lecture and that lead to lower grade. As a result …show more content…

Some people think because they lesson or see that they are learning but that not the case. Americans consume 1.7 trillion hours of digital media. The average is 15,5 hours per person in one day. (Purcell and Ranine,2014). Large amount of information will make you overloaded and lose focus .Furthermore you can forget all the information because it came fast and your brain couldn't absorbs all that information. We learn quickly than we forget quickly we put the information in the short-term (Carr,2010).When information store in the short-term in the brain .The brain doesn't have enough time to process this information to save it as something valuable. This valuable information you could need it in the future. However, by the time information in short-term will be forgotten .Finally ,it not about how much information you get it’s about the time that brain need to process and save this information
