Area 51 is an Air Force base located one hundred miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada. Area 51 is one of the most talked about conspiracy theories of all time. It was originally built in the 1950s to test and create fighter jets.Area 51 has high security surrounding the whole property and is in restricted air space. With all the security and secrecy that takes place in this area lots of conspiracy theories form because no one knows the sole purpose of Area 51. This is a common theory because there have been reported sights of unknown objects flying over Area 51 several different times. There have also been accounts of mysterious beams of light that beam through the sky that stem from area 51 and are believed to be tied to exterrestrials. What really happened over the summer in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico? People have debated this topic countless times. Despite all of the deviations of what happened, there is a general timeline. Sometime during the months of June and July 1947, an aircraft landed in Mac Brazel’s ranch; Brazel proceeded to tell Sheriff George Wilcox. He sent a member of the Roswell Army Air Field base to look at the wreckage on Brazel’s ranch. This person took some of the debris back to the base for further inspection. On July 8, 1947, the newspapers published stories about how someone found a flying saucer in New Mexico. However, the government told the newspapers to report that it was merely a weather balloon that had crashed. After that, everybody simply accepted the story and dropped the topic. Throughout that story, many pieces of evidence went untold to the media. There were numerous pictures that went unreleased. Many affidavits went unnoticed and nobody paid attention to inconsistencies in the government’s justifications. Because of explicative photographs, several eyewitness accounts, and contradictory government explanations, there is extensive proof that the government concealed an alien landing in Roswell, New Mexico.

I went onto Google and typed in ‘Is the government hiding aliens?’ and around 625,000 results appeared in 0.74 seconds. I clicked on the second result which took me to www.dailymail.com.uk which talked about how an old defense minister claims that aliens have visited earth before and that the government is most definitely hiding them. The next website I explored was www.telegraph.com and the value of their website was very important. I learned that Area 51 supposedly does not do research on aliens, but a NASA worker claims that there is aliens the government is hiding.
