Some people are afraid of shooting a gun. There is nothing to be afraid of. Many people are afraid that they will hurt someone, not be able, or just do not want to do it. These of many reasons will keep people from doing this fun activity. There is no reason they it should. There are great pros in doing this activity. You can learn a new thing. Shooting may even turn into something that you really like. This would also conquer a fear for some people.
One reason that you should try shooting is that you will learn something new. You will never learn if you like it or not if you never try it. It is always good to try new things. You will learn new things about the world, like what weapons we use in battle. That is only if you study the uses and history. When you start learning about them you may get very interested. This will start a new hobby for you for a while because there is a ton to learn about firearms. You will learn a lot about firearms if you take the time to do so, which you should.

Shooting may be one of your new favorite hobbies. If you never try shooting you will never try something that you will like. Then when you find out if you like it you will want to do it more. After you find out that you like shooting you will tell your friends. When you tell your friends they will end up liking to do it to. I was sitting in the old rickety chair that looked as if it had been there for five years. The smell of gunpowder hung in the morning air as I leaned over the rifle rest. My finger wrapped around the trigger as my eye focused through the scope of my grandfather’s Springfield ’03. I took a deep breath and let half out. My finger tightened on the trigger as I awaited the recoil and crack of the gunpowder igniting. Finally, when my finger’s pull was enough to move the trigger, the gun went off. Moments like this are why I love shooting guns.

Are you going to feel like they are trying to protect themselves from danger or not? Even if you do not see them in college, how will you feel? Opponents will say that they are in their right to bear them.

Knowing how your weapon shoots is a game charger. Knowing the range you are comfortable shooting at so when the shot presents itself, you’re ready. You can never have enough practice when it comes to shooting. The more comfortable you become with your weapon the better off you will be in the field. Good shots don’t come often but when they do you need to be ready, there’s no excuse for a missed opportunity.

However, there are many other people who believe this idea is not a good solution and never help. This essay will demonstrate for and against views about the topic. People who agree with this idea consider: firstly, stricter laws will reduce violence and gun control means crime control. Secondly, some research shows people with gun are more at risks of getting shot. Thirdly, guns can always be misused by their owners and finally, stricter law is the best and the faster way to control crime and make community safe. While opponents say first of all, guns are necessary for people safety and protection. Secondly, guns are not the only tools for killing and violence; there are other weapons too and finally, gun ownership is human rights.

Did you know the second amendment states that you have a right to own and use arms for protection? Kentucky passed a law in 1813 that prohibits the carrying of concealed weapons. In May 1987, Florida passed a “shall-issue” law that became a model for other states. There were 11 states that have the “may-issue” law which allowed permits. On July 8, 2011, Wisconsin became the 49th state to allow concealed carry. (ProCon.org) Adults who go through training and obtain a permit should be able to carry a concealed handgun.
Gun safety is very important in the matters of teaching people that firearms are not a toy. One should always treat the gun like it is loaded. Too many people choose to play around with guns by swinging them around, tossing them to people, or aiming the gun at other people and pretending to shoot them. These are signs that people are much too immature and should not be handling a firearm.
