Have you ever felt like your privacy was being invaded in your own home? In “How Private is Your Private Life?”, Andrea Rock puts out many ways your privacy is invaded on a daily basis some of those are important to note on how anyone’s privacy can be invaded. In an article found on the internet titled “Are Cookies Hazardous to Your Privacy?” (Patrick J. Cunningham), Patrick Cunningham, he talks a lot about the computer software named “cookies”. Cunningham divided his article into three main portions what cookies are and do, how to avoid them, and how to make decisions about privacy. The cookies that Cunningham is talking about are not food cookies they are files that enable any company to to track the users’ internet history and status, record your purchases, and greet the user by their name when they visit the website. Cookies perform various technical protocols used all around the world on the internet. Furthermore, they are sent to the users’ computer and when they are sent they often obtain information about the users’ computer.
