The culture of Egypt has thousands of years of recorded history. Ancient Egypt was among the earliest civilizations. For millennia, Egypt Maintained a strikingly complex and stable culture that influenced later cultures of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.For almost 13 centuries Arabic has been the written and spoken language of Egypt. Before the Arab invasion in AD 639, Coptic, the language descended from ancient Egyptian, was the language of both religious and everyday life for the mass of the population; by the 12th century, however, it had been totally replaced by Arabic, continuing only as a liturgical language for the Coptic Orthodox Church.
Dating back to the century of 2200 BCE, there had been many different artifacts that have allowed many scholars to understand the time period back during the ancient Egyptian culture. After learning about the culture that had been extremely influential, many people had discovered that Ptah was a leader who had made and ruled the capitol city of Memphis in Egypt. Therefore, the Precepts of Ptah give our historians an insight to the world that used to be, based off of the main God that the Egyptian people had worshiped.

Alexander the Great was the first to conquer Egypt, leading up to the colonization by the British-Ottoman Empire and many more. One of the most important pre-colonization dynasties was the Ptolemaic, it ran on a Greek political structure and supported the growing culture center of artists, scientist, and philosophers. Egypt has one of the longest histories of any nation in the world. Written history of Egypt dates back to about 5,000 years, the commencement of civilization. While there is divergence in relation to Early Egyptian times, it is said that Egypt came to be around 3200 B.C., during the reign of a king by the name of Menes and unified the northern and southern cities of Egypt into one government. In 1675 B.C., Egypt was invaded by the Hyksos, people from the east, bringing along the very first of chariots and horses ever to come across Egyptian soil. Approximately 175 years later in 1500 B.C., the Egyptians had gotten rid of the Hyksos and driven them out. In 1375 B.C., Amenhotep IV had become the king of Egypt. During his reign he eliminated the worship of Egyptian gods and initiated the idea of only worshipping one god. But after his death, his ideas were retired and old ways were reestablished. Egyptian supremacy then started to decline around 1000 B.C. Between 1000 B.C. and 332 B.C., Egypt was ruled by many such as the Libyans, Assyrians, Ethiopians, and Persians. In 640, Muslims conquered Egypt and founded the city of Cairo in 969 and deemed it as the capital of Egypt. For many centuries Egypt was ruled by Muslim caliphs. A prominent ruler of this period was Saladin, who battled the Christian Crusaders at the conclusion of the twelfth century. In 1798 Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Egypt but was then forced to withdraw in 1801 Turkish and British armed forces. In 1805 Mohamed Ali began ruling Egypt till 1848 and great changed the country in terms of modernization and its military. The would leave things resemble to their past living body so that Ka could recognize its body and Ba would return after each night spending time in the sunshine. Communication style can be defined as a person’s characteristic way of speaking. Every different culture around the world all have their own unique twists on how they communicate in comparison to other cultures. After the completion of an interview with Nabil Haddad, a retired High School science teacher from Lebanon, and the Arabic culture, it was analyzed that there are many similarities and differences between the communication styles between the Arabic culture throughout the middle east, and ours in the United States. After completing analysis of the interview, it was deduced that these two cultures have some major differences in communication style. Between the two cultures, Arabic and American, the major differences can be seen within three major aspects of communication style; the belief of talk and its value, politeness, and presentation of self.

The regular patterns of nature—the annual flooding of the Nile, the cycle of the seasons, and the progress of the Sun that brought day and night—were considered gifts from the gods to the people of Egypt. Egyptian thought, morality, and culture were rooted in a deep respect for order and balance. Change and novelty were not considered important in themselves; thus the style and representational conventions in Egyptian art that were established early in the development of that civilization continued virtually unchanged for more than 3,000 years. To the modern eye the Egyptian artistic idiom may seem stiff and static; its underlying intention, however, was not to create an image of things as they appear in reality, but rather to capture the essence of a person, animal, or object for eternity.
