This website provides so much information that I would have never figured out without this. They included 2 primary sources. One that showed the petition prisoners signed to bail out of jail, and one that showed the Act to Reverse the Attainders of George Burroughs and Others For Witchcraft. This resource gave the primary sources and information I needed.
Books: Sewall, Samuel. The Diary of Samuel Sewall. 1674- 1729

This diary belonged to someone who experienced the Trials by their own eyes. On September 21, Samuel writes that Dorcas Hoar confessed of witchcraft. He writes on his first page how awful it was to see how accused witches were treated

The comparison of these observations will focus upon why the witch trials occurred when they did, why did they stop when they did, why did the witch trials occur when they did, and who was persecuted and who was responsible for the identification and punishing of witches.
