My Opinion On all of this Is that Mr.G should teach The Diary Of a Young girl. My first reason why is because most of the 8th graders such as me prefer to learn and from someone actually living in that time. My Second reason why is because Anne Frank Has such a special talent she can describe things around her in such a special way you can visualise like you're with her in the annex. My last reason is that I feel like Her story should experience her hardships through her diary and learn from her so that something like the holocaust never happens again.
Many other people feel the same way as I do for example Francine Prose. Francine Prose has written in her book “Anne Frank: The Book, The Life, The Afterlife” that she read The Diary Of A Young Girl when she was 13 and was enthralled by Anne's vivid descriptions like me. Francine Prose called the book a consciously crafted work of literature. She also talks about how Anne at her age has a special talent at writing that some adults don't have. Even The New York times called her diary a piece of magnificent history.
