Alcohol has a short term effect and long term effect on human bodies. The short term effects depending on how much people are taken and the physical condition of the individual, alcohol can cause: drowsiness, headaches, and unconsciousness. These issues commonly have effects on people when they start drinking alcohol. People tend to drink alcohol because they are stressed and wish to escape pain in their lives. Moreover, some people assume that alcohol is considered as a drug to reduce their stress. They consume a large quantities of alcohol whenever they feel depressed, that may lead to relate with premeditated suicides. In addition, alcohol is a factor in over half of cases of murder and rape, because they lose control of themselves and black out.
Finally, a fatal accident are the most common types of the effect of drinking alcohol. There are mass issues happen like collisions, fires, and DUI that are connected to drinking alcohol. All drunk drivers will be caught and impounded their vehicles if the police officer finds out the person who has a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or greater. Furthermore, people will lose their driver’s license or be in jail when they cause an accidental death.
Therefore, the effects of drinking alcohol are so dangerous. It is not only damage to health, but also harm other people. While the government has strict regulation for those people who are alcoholic, the rate of drinking alcohol is still not reducing.
