Over the years, basketball has evolved to a more challenging game as it added long distance 3-point shooting, flashy alley-oops, and gravity-defying slam dunks. Basketball is so popular that people in various parts of the world, regardless of their roots, know how to play the game. Fans love the sport for various reasons. Some love it because the fundamentals are easy to learn; while others love it because it is widely available, as most parks and city street alleys in the US have at least one basketball court.
