Recommended: Animal testing ethics

Many animal lovers keep pushing to ban animal testing around the world. But, most people do not really know the science behind animal testing, or how it works. Animal testing is a commonly known, controversial issue. People usually have a strong opinion on animal testing, either that it should be outlawed or that it scientifically makes sense to do. Testing on animals should not be banned because it is an efficient, effective, helps not only humans. First of all, animal testing is very efficient and effective. Without animal testing, diseases like polio, mumps, diphtheria, rubella, and hepatitis would not be curable (Trull). Second, many people think testing on animals is only beneficial for humans.
