Animal Hormones and Antibiotics Are Hurting Humans

Farmers are giving animals synthetic hormones and antibiotics to increase the growth and kill bacteria. Unfortunately, if one consumes the meat and produce there are major side effects to human body. Hormones are given to animals to accelerate growth and antibiotics are given to treat pathogens, but unfortunately people are being affected by the hormones and the antibiotic resistant bacteria. Further, supplying the body with an abnormal amount of natural or synthetic hormones can cause a minor or major hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalance can affect the human body in multiple outcomes. Pesticides and herbicides have chemicals that leave residue in the produce even after they have been washed. Also, growth hormones are affecting children by causing early puberty in young girls as well as young boys. Accordingly, hormones used in meat and chemicals used in fresh produce affect the human body by creating a hormonal imbalance that can induce early puberty in young girls and boys.
Furthermore, bacteria’s are becoming resistant to antibiotics and this can cause serious health threats to humans because it will be harder to treat illness and infections; as a result, the mortality rate will increase. This issue is affecting people all over the world, by providing the body with hormones; as a consequence, the body will stop producing natural hormones. Once the body stops the production of hormones humans will always depend on synthetic hormones, and if a person leaves the country and starts eating organic food major withdrawal effects can occur. Although the food industry states that hormones and antibiotics are not affecting humans, researchers state the contrary. Injecting and feeding hormones and antibiotics to animals is a huge con...

... can lead to negative feedback, which can be dangerous because it signals the glands to stop the production of the hormone. The body will become dependent on the synthetic hormone that is being consumed by food, and it can cause severe health threats to humans. Although, the Food and Drug Administration states that hormones and antibiotics are not problematic to humans, researchers state the contrary. Europe banned U.S. imported meat from their country, this is perfect example of the danger that these toxic foods can do to humans. This issue is mainly in the United States, but people all over the world are also being affected. Conclusively, synthetic hormones implanted in the animals we eat and pesticides and herbicides used in the crops are dangerous hazards to the human body, which can result in tremendous health issues by tempering with the hormones homeostasis.
