Anglin Brothers Research Paper

Due to the lack of evidence claiming they died and the overwhelming evidence that there is to back up that they are alive. I believe that the Anglin brothers successfully made it out of Alcatraz alive.

I believe that the Anglin brothers made it off Alcatraz island and they used the tides to get away. In Paragraph nine of Article 1 it states that “they used historical tide data to prove it was possible at the right time to make it to the Golden State Bridge. I can claim this information is true because they also said that. “As a scientist, I don't care what happened; I just want to show that we can do this” Hut said in the last paragraph of Article 1. This means he has zero bias whether they lived or not.

There is more evidence that they lived. In the video, the two nephews of the Anglin brothers claimed they had a picture of the boys down in Brazil. It was claimed that it was taken after the escape. They U.S Marshal services had a professional face identifier take a lot at the photo to prove if it was indeed the brothers. When he was done he said it was in fact John and Clarence Anglin. They also proved by carbon dating that it was taken after the escape. They said it was most likely taken in the 1970’s.

With the family's permission they dug up the other brother of the Anglins and took DNA samples from his bones. They sent the samples to a lab to be tested to see if there were the bones of John or Clanrce. A couple of months later the US marshal service came back to the nephew's house with good news to them. The bones came up negative to be related to the Anglin brothers. With that and the pictures that was enough evidence to prove to the government that they need to reopen the case.
