I strongly believe that Andrée de Jongh was the most outstanding heroine of Belgium. She is considered a hero of Belgium because she bothered to risk her life to help wounded soldiers she had never met before. This brave woman started in 1914 when the Germans took over. When she tried telling the judges she explained to them how the voices told her it was her divine mission help the dauphin and rescue her country from the English from the darkest periods during the Hundred Years’ War and gain the French Throne. She is till this day one of the most heroic legends in womens history.
