Keir Burrows’ award winning short film “Donkey” deals with the actions of people and how some people are willing to bring others down in order to get to the top. The story shows us that in contemporary society you got to have sharp elbows to be popular and successful. The whole story is told through a voice-over narration. Our narrator and protagonist is a young man from London called David, whose life, from the perspective of an outsider, is going by the book - he studied law at a top university, now has a profitable job as a banker and has good looks and great self-confidence.
